The two-part session will begin with overviews of Louisiana Tech’s graduate programs.  The second part will allow prospective graduate students time for breakout sessions with university officials to receive more in-depth information about Louisiana Tech’s individual graduate programs.

Louisiana Tech representatives are targeting a five-parish area in northwest Louisiana to attract more graduate students and better serve the needs of the region.  The College of Education offers a number of outstanding master’s and doctoral level programs in such disciplines as Educational Leadership, Kinesiology, Counseling and Guidance, Counseling Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, Higher Education Administration, Industrial /Organizational Psychology, Alternative Path Teacher Certification, Organizational Leadership, and Orientation and Mobility/Teaching Blind Students.

“I think we have a lot to offer potential graduate students in the Shreveport/Bossier City area and this will be a good opportunity to hear about those things and find out more about Louisiana Tech University,” said Lawrence Leonard, dean of the College of Education.
