Bradley has a depth of knowledge and experience in driving information technology and cyber security, which has helped transform CenturyLink from a rural telephone provider to a global leader in advanced IP-enabled network, cloud/hosting, IT services and cyber security.
During his tenure as chief technology officer and chief information officer, Bradley’s leadership was fundamental in then CenturyTel’s acquisition of Embarq in 2009, which created CenturyLink, successfully integrating hundreds of applications and converting millions of customers to a single consumer billing system, tripling the scale of the IT organization. Building on this experience, he also contributed to CenturyLink’s acquisition of Qwest in 2011, doubling the scale of the IT organization to support millions of customers and more than 40,000 employees.  Bradley’s focus on creating a “one company” mindset, following these acquisitions, helped set the foundation for the technological and cultural transformation at CenturyLink.
In addition to his role at CenturyLink, Bradley provides expertise to several academic boards at Louisiana Tech and serves on the board of cyber security company RiskSense.  He is an active advocate for promoting the growth of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and believes the foundation of a well-balanced and productive life is to follow your passion, work hard and give back to your community.
Following Bradley’s commencement address, the graduates from each of Louisiana Tech’s five academic colleges and the Graduate School will receive diplomas as well as their Tenet Medallions inscribed with the 12 Tenets of Tech and their year of graduation. The Tenets of Tech are guiding principles and personal characteristics that students and graduates are expected to embrace and uphold during and after their time at Louisiana Tech.
Fall commencement officially marks the end of the fall quarter at Louisiana Tech.  Winter quarter classes are scheduled to begin on November 30.
