Poet to Read at Tech on May 8

The Louisiana Tech English Department will present a poetry reading by visiting poet Allison Joseph at 6 p.m. May 8 in the G. T. Madison Hall Auditorium 105.  The reading of her new work will be followed by a question-and-answer period and book signing.
At 4 p.m. in G. T. Madison Hall 223, she will present a craft talk aimed at English creative writing majors. Events will be open to the public. Her most recent book Confessions of a Barefaced Woman, along with other works will be available for purchase.
Her books include Soul Train (Carnegie Mellon University Press), In Every Seam (University of Pittsburgh Press), The Purpose of Hands (Glass Lyre Press), Double Identity (Singing Bone Press),and the forthcoming Corporal Muse (Sibling Rivalry Press).
